Description
The 14 Series 1490 is the top-of-the-range model in the 14 Series of professional extra-flexible high pressure washers with no need for an electrical power supply. Petrol-driven, it is the ideal solution for cleaning in the construction, farming and industrial sectors and for car-washes and workshops, where high performance is required in continual, heavy-duty use.
Built entirely from quality, corrosion-resistant materials such as brass, it guarantees a long working life and extremely easy maintenance thanks to the accessible position of the power unit.
AR 1490 is fitted with a piston pump with nickel-plated aluminium head with an extremely high-performing connecting rod system, complete with automatic safety valve for pump head pressure shut-off and thermal valve, which discharges the water if its temperature rises to levels which would damage the high pressure washer.
It contains a Honda GX390 engine with low oil level sensor, with all the power needed to deliver a maximum pump pressure of 280 bar, maximum flow rate of 960 l/h and speed of 3400 rpm. The mechanical gearbox reduces the rpm between the engine output shaft and the pump shaft for less wear of pump components. The automatic throttle, on the other hand, increases engine rpm when the trigger gun is in use; when the trigger gun is not being operated, the engine slows to reduce fuel consumption and noise.
The oil level can be checked at any time, and changes are very simple thanks to the caps and discharge slots. The water inlet with inspectable filter is on the front of the machine, conveniently located for connecting a garden hose to the unit.
The 14 Series 1490 has been designed to combine outstanding reliability with exceptional agility. With its rugged painted steel trolley, with handle with non-slip grip, and the inflatable tyres, this unit can easily be moved across even the most difficult terrains, while the rubber front feet ensure stability during use. The trolley also contains the detergent tank with integral suction system.
The set of professional accessories supplied guarantees outstanding power and perfect cleaning capabilities. Supplied complete with:
- high pressure trigger gun with brass thread connection;
- corrosion-resistant steel lance extension;
- 4 interchangeable nozzles for mounting on the lance to vary the water jet depending on requirements;
- particularly tough, hard-wearing 10 metre reinforced high pressure hose
Once the job is done, all accessories can conveniently be stowed in the accessories holder on the trolley handle.
